Curiosity opens the world.
Cubious opens the conversation.

Not a guide. A companion for the curious conversations that begin while you play.
Open the bookWhile little hands build, curious minds begin to wander. A card gives the conversation a gentle place to start, and the cubes give every thought the time and space to find its way out.

Open. Set up. Start talking.

Founder’s story
“I made Cubious for two people: the little girl I used to be, and the mom and dad who were learning how to understand her.”
Audrey, founder
I grew up in a loving family. My sister and I moved through the world very differently. I was the quieter one, happiest in my own little corner, with a stuffed giraffe I told everything I was too shy to say out loud.
My head was full of ideas. Some looked like “mischief” to the grown-ups. Most of them simply didn’t make sense to them.
For a long time, I thought I was the one who kept things inside. Years later, my sister — the one I always thought would say everything — brought up a small childhood memory she had quietly carried for years, something the rest of us barely remembered. It struck me how differently the same moment can live inside a child. There are so many things children carry before they know how to put them into words.
As I got older, I began to understand my parents in a way I couldn’t as a child. I just wish I had known earlier how to help them understand me, too.
It was never a lack of love. Sometimes we just didn’t know how to find our way into each other’s worlds.
I think that’s why Cubious exists. Just to give people a softer place to begin.
In some ways, Cubious is just the grown-up version of that giraffe.
